TASK 2

Rainbow Death

America did not foresee
Green, pink, purple and other colors death potpourri!
Expecting others to pay a high price.
Now thinking twice?
Toll on the innocent and unborn.

Omnipotent and disregarding who will mourn.
Reflective about all the illness, birth defects and prematurely dead.
All the deceit continues to spread.
Nefariously America led astray -
Generations untold WILL pay -
Execrable effects of agent orange spray!

Point of View: This poem was written in the point of view of a soldier. He offers a view of somewhat a mixture of soldier and an innocent citizen. The poet feels sorry for those who were innocent yet were dragged in,we can see that from ,"Now thinking twice?Toll on the innocent and unborn."This shows what even the unborn was affected due to perhaps some poisonous gas, and the rest of the innocent people were affected too. The poet, feels sorry for these people, showing that he is a person with a strong sense of justice, and has not lost that sense despite being involved in war.I feel that he is one of those typical soldiers who joined to protect the innocent, as he felt that what what America was doing was wrong.

Situation and setting:
Injustice EV:"toll on the innocent and unborn".
ELAB: It involved even the unborn, who had not even enjoyed their life for a single second, yet they have to pay the price for something they did not commit, along with the other innocent people. They had paid with their lives, thus creating a sense of injustice, as they were the "Innocent" people, which means that they had not done anything, yet they were killed.

Anger EV; "Generations untold WILL pay".
elab:By emphasizing on the word "WILL", the poet must have felt some extreme emotions thus causing him to emphasize on that word, and based on the previous parts of the poem, this was written during a war, and alot of lives were taken. The poet felt angry that the newer generations had to pay for what their generation has done, thus causing an angry setting in this poem.

Language/Diction:

Imagery:"Reflective about all the illness, birth defects and prematurely dead." -The poet is trying to create an image in our heads using this sentence, to depict a picture that alot of people had suffered during the war, even the babies, they died even before being brought to this world.

Personal response: I feel that war is unnecessary and is like a black hole. Sometimes, war can be avoided( they can happen just because of a small conflict!), and it resembles a black hole which sucks up everything, in this case, it drags EVERYONE into it; even though the innocent people were not involved, they were killed too.I have learned that we should not start any conflict and live in peace with everyone, so as not to involve anyone who should not have been in the first place.

Ranbow Death analysis

Task 1:
Hubert Wilson:A Vietnam War veteran who served in the USAF Security Service.Along with a dozen or so intelligence school grads, prepped for about 14 months at Kelly AFB in San Antonio, Texas, before anticipating being sent to Vietnam or elsewhere in southeat Asia in 1970.About half ended up in Da Nang in the 6924th Security Squadron. The rest of them were assigned to Shemya Island, Alaska, with the 6984th Security Squadron, and was a more contaminated environment than Da Nang.

His health problems started approximately 15 years before with unexplained headaches and limb pains. Four years before his central nervous system radically deteriorated with Parkinsonian type tremors, severe headaches, progressive limb pains, etc. No physician has ever diagnosed the specific illness. NO VA physician has ever rendered any medical assistance for him.His number one educated guess is the heavily contaminated drinking water at Shemya during his year there as an intelligence analyst.

He decided to turn to writing like his late Father and the late singer (and writer) Johnny Cash.

Poem

Black against the whites
It was not a fair fight

Racial discrimination,
leaving a bad impression,
on the niggers
and the whites

Whites were powerful
They had the power to rule
the blacks were weak
they were getting kicked

He(Tom) had no authority to speak a word,
It was like,killing a mockingbird.

But here comes atticus Finch,
And he tries to save the day
The whites of course,
Sided with Mayella

They threw Tom into jail,
he tried to escape,
He was killed,
that was his terrible fate

But here c

Results

Kinaesthetic-I feel that the results shown were inaccurate. I do NOT think that im body smart,as I have no talent in sports, and I do not have any stamina.
Linguistic-I feel that they are right;I am not very good at explaining stuff, neither am I good at persuading people.I am not good at giving speeches;thus all these factors show that i am not word smart.
Logical-I feel that they are partially right about this,as,well,I like math. But that does not necessarily mean that I am good at it.But occasionally,I'll think of problems when im walking/moving.
Interpersonal-I'm not really sociable, not to mention that im unfriendly, but when I see people having quarrels, sometimes i'll just try to help out;thats provided if there are other people beside me.
Musical-I enjoy music, but I dont go after them.
Visual/spatial-I imagine all sorts of stuff, and i picture them in my head,as if im in the movie theatre.
Naturalistic-Im not good at naming plants, and my knowledge on the nature is next to nothing.

Facebook and its game(s)

As you can all judge from the title,I will be sharing my view on one of Facebook's most popular games in this post.
The original intention of creating Facebook, was to allow old mates/pals/classmates/schoolmates etcetc to keep in contact. But in the recent years,
Facebook transformed into a site for advertising and business, not to mention GAMES.
[(Personal message)>I DON't PLAY MOUSEHUNT!]
In the recent, the number of students from our school playing Mousehunt is increasing rapidly.Personally,I do not think that Mousehunt is a fun game. It's just a game which requires you to click on (something)every 15 min, and I do not see any particular reason why our student population gets hooked on to it.

According to what I hear, students are beginning to trade what they call, the Mousehunt gold with real cash.My opinions are that its an immature action and that its practically useless.Lets say, after a few months, when this student gets tired of
Mousehunting,he would eventually stop on the game. That means that all the money he wasted would be,well, wasted.I would not mind if whoever that is would donate that sum to me:D

I do NOT have Facebook, and I do not intend to have one.But I will consider creating an account if *err herm* SOME ONE from SOME OTHER SCHOOOL encourages me to ;p

Thanks to whoevers looking at this post,I doubt theres anyone reading this in the first place...

The previous.
Firstly...
We are having a competition to...identify the more sociable
Person. socialize is the correct word.
Secondly...
Our test are just around the corner...we can make full use
Of this period of time to well, study?
Lastly...
